Hello! My name is Cristie. I’m just your average thirty-something city girl living in a small town. I’m a huge animal-lover, a super science nerd, and love to spend hours immersed in a good book. My passions are my amazing husband and our sweet pup, helping others lose weight the healthy way, creating new recipes, and of course, FOOD! 😉
I have struggled with my weight off and on for my entire life. I’m fairly petite (5’1!) so any excess weight definitely shows up on my small frame. Before my wedding, I was at the heaviest I’ve ever been. I knew something had to change.
The girl on the left was unhappy, uncomfortable, and downright miserable. None of my clothes fit and shopping for new ones was one of the worst experiences ever. I was that girl in the dressing room next to you crying her eyes out. I was absolutely ashamed. I had tried lots of “quick fix” type diets but nothing worked. I would lose weight and then gain even more back. I knew I needed to do something different. The pounds were adding up and I was becoming a negative person. I was lost and felt hopeless.
