Recap: Feeling great today!! I didn’t drink as much water as I should have, so I’m chugging as much as I can before bed. Probably a bad idea, but I gotta get it done. I’m still wishing I could find some peaches for my breakfasts. I’m getting bored with mango, pears, and berries. I am, however, loving the ginger dressing! I added some shredded carrots and extra ginger to it like they do in the Japanese steakhouses. It’s quite yummy! I also am really feeling the sweet potatoes for dinner. I don’t think I could ever get sick of them!! Today was definitely better than the weekend. I hardly had any cravings unless it was triggered by a smell. I made chicken alfredo and ice cream for Steve and didn’t even lick the spoons! I wanted to, but I totally resisted. I know it sounds small, but I am 100% committed to toughing this thing out. I’m celebrating every single win right now! I’m feeling freaking fantastic physically, but mentally I’m struggling a little. I think I’m just so ready to get back to a new normal way of eating and start exercising again.
Breakfast: Fruit – mango, pear, and strawberries.
Lunch: Salad with avocado and ginger dressing.
Dinner: Roasted sweet potato with red onions and broccoli.
