Recap: Today has been such a great day! I am so doggone proud of myself. I resisted homemade cinnamon rolls this morning. Seriously… it was unreal. I knew they were delicious and I would’ve loved to have one, but my goals are more important than 2 minutes of bliss. That is HUGE for me!!! Not only did I resist them when everyone else was eating them, I even took some to go for the ladies at the office, AND took one home for Steve. I didn’t even sneak one bite!!! If more self-control is the only thing I get from this experience, I’d say it’s a win. I really needed to take a step back to develop a healthier relationship with food and my body. I am feeling so good right now!! My food today was delicious! I’m really enjoying the fruit for breakfast! And the quinoa lentil pilaf was soooooo good! I can’t wait to have it again! I haven’t been drinking my Shakeology during my reset because only a half scoop of a vegan formula is allowed. I’d rather just munch on some veggies that I know will keep me full. But, today I was craving some chocolate. Instead of making a shake, I made pudding! It was divine! It’s so simple too. Just take a scoop (or half during the Reset) and mix it with just enough water to make it into a pudding consistency. I like to shove it in the freezer for a few minutes so it gets nice and cold and then devour it!
TMI: I’ve spent more time in the bathroom today. I guess that detox fiber drink is doing its job. This is definitely a GENTLE cleanse! No rushing to the bathroom or super uncomfortable situations.
Breakfast: Fruit bowl with mango, blueberries, and raspberries.
Lunch: Quinoa lentil pilaf.
Snack: Vegan chocolate Shakeology pudding.
Dinner: Baby greens salad.
Daily Supplements: Mineralize, Optimize, Power Greens, Detox, Soothe.
Mood: Freaking amazing!
