Weekend Recap: This weekend was pretty good! Saturday was a lazy day. I didn’t do much and it felt AWESOME! I worked in the garden a little bit and did some laundry. Other than that I spent most of the day hanging with my husband on the couch. I was a little worried about my first whole weekend on the Reset because those days are normally the hardest for me on ANY nutrition plan. I’m a snacker. I allowed myself to have a pear in the afternoon as my snack even though it’s not on the snack list. But, other than that I stuck to my plan 100%. The quinoa salad was delish!! I really loved it and I look forward to making it again! I had the veggie taco again because it was my last chance and it’s just so yummy.
Sunday was kind of a weird day. We went out riding in the Jeep so I knew it would be a little more difficult to stay on my schedule. I ate breakfast as usual and took my mid-morning supplements before we left. I brought an orange and some edamame as a snack and hoped we’d be home by dinner. I wasn’t sure how an actual lunch would fare in the heat, so I skipped it. I did okay with my water. I didn’t drink as much as I would have if I were at home, but not too shabby. By the time I got home, I was pretty hungry! My meal plan called for pinto beans and rice. I’m not a fan of pintos so I subbed black beans. It was pretty much the same as the veggie taco except no corn or tortilla.
Note: I skipped my first 2 detox packets on Sunday because I wasn’t sure how it would affect my body and there weren’t any toilets where we were.
