Fears & Hesitations

Hey everyone! I just wanted to take a minute to talk to you guys about fears and hesitations about starting a new fitness program. It seems a lot of people have them and I was right there too! Starting something new is SCARY! Especially if you’ve tried things in the past that haven’t worked. Below are three of the most common fears that I hear and some of my thoughts on how we can get past them.

One of the most common fears I hear is: “I don’t have the SKILL/I’m not good enough!”

If you’re not already familiar with Beachbody programs, you might be a little intimidated right now. You might be thinking that it’s all about lifting weights or doing really complex moves. So not true!! Beachbody literally has a program for EVERYONE! These programs span the entire range of the exercise spectrum. There is everything from low-impact yoga for beginners to hip-hop dance to heavy lifting for the advanced athlete. If you can think of it, chances are Beachbody has it!

The second most common fear/hesitation I hear is: “I don’t have enough MONEY!”

I get it. I was right there with you!! This was my #1 excuse to not buy a Beachbody challenge pack. Exercise is not only great for our bodies, it does amazing things to our attitudes and overall well-being! You deserve to look and FEEL great!

Time is one of the main reasons I LOVE these workouts. Not only are they just 30-40 minutes, but I get to do them at home on my own schedule! I never have to worry about packing a gym bag or commuting to and from a gym. When I used to go to the gym I spent an hour MINIMUM, either in a group exercise class or torturing myself on the treadmill. But, I get better results now in 30 minutes, from home, than I ever did at a gym! And since we have a private group of women who will be going through the same journey you are, you’ll still get the group support!

Food for thought… A 30-minute workout is just 2% of your day!
