Happy Friday, folks!!
The work week is officially O-V-E-R!!! Woop woop! I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for the weekend! Along with the perks of the weekend come some challenges. There are dinners out, parties, and lots of free time to mindlessly eat. It’s not always easy to make healthy choices when temptation is staring you in the face. But, the great thing about this program is that it’s not only 21 days. This is a lifestyle change. We are human and WILL fail from time to time. But, if we slip, we can get right back on that wagon and strive to be even better tomorrow!
I try to do two things in preparation of the weekend. First, I make sure that I do not have any junk food in the house, because I will most likely eat it. Second, I try to fill up my schedule with chores or fun plans out of the house.
Today’s workout is my least favorite. CARDIO!!!! Ack! But, it’s super effective and really gets the heart pumping! It includes all of the classic moves like burpees, mountain climbers, and jumping jacks. This one always gets me sweaty!
Today’s meal plan included:
Breakfast: French toast, strawberries, and cottage cheese.
Lunch: Blackened tilapia with broccoli.
Snack: Navel orange.
Dinner: Turkey stuffed peppers.
